Jennifer Taylor has been elected as the next NUS Cymru President, following a ballot of representatives across Wales' student movement. 

Jennifer, who is currently Carmarthen President at University of Wales Trinity Saint David Students’ Unions, will take up their post from July 2026 for a two-year term.

Delegates have cast their votes and the results are in after NUS Wales Conference 2023. 

We are delighted to announce the successful candidates for volunteer positions, as well as the results of voting on policies and amendments discussed at Conference.

Members of steering oversee NUS Wales conference and processes for generating ideas from students and students' unions.  

Following voting by NUS Wales Conference delegates, the following candidates were successful.

Three policy proposals were discussed and debated at Wales Conference. 

Following voting by delegates, all three main policy proposals, alongside all amendments to the proposals, were passed.
